Today I would look to talk about Winter blues and the impact the lack of daylight has on anyone with long term health conditions
The additional fatigue zaps you however healthy your diet and routine is.
For me I spend more time in my flat (sorry but I hate the word - housebound so negative) to avoid bugs.
I jump from one virus or infection to the next from October to March each year.
Trying to remain positive and managing the little things that make me when my pain levels are worse is a tough slog.
A fruit smoothie a day gives me some immunity boost - plus regular vitamin D supplements.
I am also partial to a daily red bull drink (value version) in an attempt for mental alertness and feel more human and less zombie.
Sitting at my desk now talking to you I have two SAD daylight lamps and the living room lights on #NeedASunshineMiracle.
